Sedgwick

Sedgwick was incorporated in 1789. The town was named after Major General Robert Sedgwick. Caterpillar Hill is one of the most scenic spots on the Peninsula with sweeping views over Penobscot Bay to the Camden Hills! One of the few public access points to Walker’s Pond can be found at the town landing where there is a public docking and access for swimming. Local restaurants known as Tasha’s provides an American (traditional) selection and El El Frijoles provides a Mexican selection. A couple of the local stores are Eggemoggin Country Store and C & G Grocery. There is also a local brewery called Strong Brewing. Sedgwick is 15 minutes to Blue Hill.
